How it works:

The reflex amplifiers FRL 1/2 emit pulsed infrared radiation via the Glass fiber optics GM . A phototransistor receives the signals. If the intensity of the received (reflected) light beam falls below the set threshold, the output switches. The sensitivity can be set via a potentiometer. With the FRL 1 you can detect the range from medium to very long ranges. With the FRL 2 you can cover very small to medium ranges. The scanning range depends on the surface quality and material of the object to be detected. The high switching frequency allows very fast processes to be detected reliably and without contact.
