Remote maintenance enables us to access your compactPRESS systems. With the help of this diagnostic option, the causes of faults can be localized online and software changes or updates can be carried out. Remote maintenance allows us to respond very quickly to system errors and problems. Experience has shown that this can often avoid costly on-site service calls. In addition, remote maintenance can considerably reduce system downtimes. This saves you considerable time and money. Remote maintenance requires an ISDN modem integrated in the cP controller and a telephone connection. Alternatively, you can order a USB remote maintenance stick from us, which gives you and us temporary access to the control system via a "wireless connection".

As part of a maintenance contract, we carry out preventive maintenance and, if necessary, calibration on our control systems at regular intervals. The service modules Remote Maintenance & Free Updates are automatically included for you when you conclude a maintenance contract. The service spectrum of the maintenance contract includes the following points:

• Inspection of the control systems, performance of the actual condition analysis
• Systematic maintenance according to maintenance list
• Determining the required spare and wear parts
• Software update if necessary and appropriate
• Carrying out and logging a data backup
